This is great music, but the arrangement is also excellent. Even though the rhythms are often complex, there is a logic and consistency that allows it to be playable even by relatively elementary musicians. Young players love it, for obvious reasons, but older ones do as well. The selection of tunes are long enough to be grasped by an audience and the variety is very satisfying. Very good orchestrations.
