Cydney Olson Van Duker

Cydney Olson Van Duker was born into a very musical family. She started singing with her 5 sisters at a young age. She started the piano at age 8 and the cello a few years later. She played in her school orchestras from Jr. High all through college and studied music at BYU. She currently plays in her community orchestra and directs and accompanies her church choir. She has been involved in church music (conducting, accompanying, and performing) since she was in her teens. Cydney has several dozen works of music published and enjoys composing for choir, vocal, piano and strings. She uses her maiden name in her music to honor her parents for passing on their musical gifts.
