Danica Pinner is a professional cellist and educator in the Los Angeles area, as well as the featured touring cellist with the Jonas Brothers. She has been involved in music education for over 18 years, both teaching privately and serving over fifteen K-12 schools as a clinician, low strings specialist, sectional coach, and assistant instructor. She has also performed as a guest conductor at Lindero Canyon Middle School, Westlake High School, CSUN Youth Orchestras, and the Billings Middle School GALA (2016) in Billings, MT. Starting in 2022, Pinner has had her own string quartet arrangements available online, and has since expanded to string orchestra. Pinner is passionate about involving kids in the arts/music, and hopes to keep the inspiration alive by contributing exciting arrangements of songs both familiar and engaging to the standard school orchestra repertoire.
Classically trained at CSU Northridge, Pinner has been spending her career diversifying her musical skill set, having experience in playing pop, rock, jazz, musicals, and many more styles in addition to classical and orchestral. Pinner has had the privilege of playing under the direction of many prestigious composers, such as John Williams, Bruce Broughton, Mark Isham, and Richard Sherman. Additionally, she has worked with the likes of Christina Aguilera, Avril Lavigne, Rufus Wainwright, Chappell Roan, Reneé Rapp, Ben Harper, deadmau5, Lewis Capaldi, Ingrid Andress, HAIM, and Yoshiki. Her playing can be heard on the Netflix show "Selling Sunset", ABC's "General Hospital", the Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the Late Late Show with James Corden, the Ellen DeGeneres Show, deadmau5's "Where's the Drop?", Moonchild's "Little Ghost", CNN, ABC, Fox, Nickelodeon, TLC, and Playboy Radio. Pinner is a founding member of LA classical crossover string ensemble
