KTB Music

Katy has been teaching music in Lancashire, England for 25 years, alongside performing in internationally renowned venues such as St. Mark’s Basilica, Venice, Tibidabo Church, Barcelona, the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, the Lowry and Blackpool Opera House. Katy read music at Lancaster University, followed by Cardiff Metropolitan University and the University of Wales (Trinity Saint David) where she gained a Masters degree in Vocal Pedagogy. She also runs KTB Music, a music school and service based in Little Hoole and coaches several choirs while still teaching both at KTB Music and at Edge Hill University. Katy still performs regularly across the North of England. With her friendly, approachable nature her mission is to make music and music making accessible to all.

Among many of her hobbies, acting has always been one of her main passions and over the years she has taken part in numerous amateur productions but over the last decade has taken a professional role as musician and MD for many local organisations.
