Clifford W. King

Clifford W. King is a Salt Lake City-based composer, teacher and singer. Recent commissions include the Salt Lake Choral Artists, Cantorum Chamber Choir and Wasatch Chorale. His recording credits include the soundtrack to various video games and television programs. He credits his knowledge and experience thus far to teachers and mentors Brady Allred, Clayton Furch, Mark Henderson, Evelyn Harris, Miguel Chuaqui, and Igor Iacimciuc among many others His music is published by Carus-Verlag and Hinshaw Music. His music has regularly been selected to be featured on Project: Encore, a catalog of contemporary choral music reviewed and endorsed by a panel of renowned conductors. In 2019 he was awarded 2nd place in the 40th Annual Ithaca College School of Music and Mark Foster Publishing Choral Composition Contest. He is the composer for the popular YouTube and podcast series "Profiling Evil." In 2022 Clifford founded and serves as the artistic director of the Rocky Mountain Chamber Choir - Virtual Singers, a collective of professional choral artists who are dedicated to recording new works by living composers and providing archival recordings of lesser-known music. Cliff loves slightly out-of-tune pianos, bighorn sheep, and rooibos tea.
