MaryAnne Muglia

MaryAnne Muglia is a composer, singer, and educator whose work has been recognized for its melodic richness, rhythmic vitality, and deep emotional resonance. Based in Mesa, Arizona, MaryAnne is known for her versatility, seamlessly blending contemporary and classical influences in her compositions and arrangements. Her journey into composition began with a love for harmony, which continues to be a driving force in her music. 

A classically trained pianist and skilled vocalist, MaryAnne's work primarily focuses on the voice, spanning solo, chamber, and choral music. Her compositions are characterized by their intricate textures, vibrant colors, and heartfelt expression. MaryAnne's music has been performed by ensembles across various levels, from high school choirs to professional groups, and she takes pride in crafting pieces that resonate deeply with both performers and audiences. 

MaryAnne is also an accomplished educator, directing A Cappella and Vocal Jazz at Chandler Gilbert Community College and leading the VocaSol Community Choir. She is passionate about nurturing young talent and has conducted clinics and workshops nationwide, both in person and virtually. 

Her compositions and arrangements are published by Alfred, Anchor Music, Graphite Publishing, and her own platform on Sheet Music Plus, where she has sold over 25,000 copies. Currently pursuing a Master of Music in Jazz Performance, MaryAnne continues to explore new musical landscapes, always striving to push the boundaries of her craft while staying true to her artistic roots.
