Jon Magill is a Melbourne (Australia)  based musician, arranger, composer  and band leader who has been playing woodwind instruments of various shapes and sizes for longer than he cares to admit. Classically trained, and with a passion for jazz, improvised music and arranging, Jon has spent many years performing and leading various bands around Melbourne and is a regular at some of the jazz festivals held throughout Victoria. Jon writes and arranges for a number of ensembles including saxophone quartet, concert band, orchestra, jazz  ensembles (5444, 3224, 2114) both with and without vocals, and various other formats.
