Alan Edgar's Meditations for solo bass brass instrument were originally composed as incidental music for the Mystery Plays and the play, Francis (life of St Francis). Slow but short, easy to play, beautiful, moving, in old Church Modes giving a wistful yet peaceful quality, with opportunities for expression of emotion. They are very suitable as independent concert pieces or to accompany other events. There is a separate Trombone arrangement. Enquiries to alan@science-music.karoo.co.uk
