Product Description

This pleasant Renaissance-era melody was originally written for the lute. It was found in John Dowland's 16th-century lute book, and famed Renaissance composer William Byrd wrote and published his own arrangement called Wolsey's Wilde.

This solo is a faithful transcription of the original melody but has been arranged to make it enjoyable to play on the piano. Musical ornaments have been added to mimic the sound of a plucked string instrument.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
