Title: "The Announcement" - Piece 2 of 10.
For Piano Solo
Taken from Christopher Ittoku's "Solo", available at http://christopherittoku.bandcamp.com

Album Description:
"Solo" is a compilation album by Christopher Ittoku released early 2016. It was a hallmark of 5 years worth of compositional practices and was released as 10 Piano solo tracks, ranging from one of his oldest pieces (Dancing In The Sky - 2011) to his newest (Unreal - late 2015) upon release. Solo features multi-textural layering throughout both hands and complex, syncopated rhythms, as well as uses of time signatures and hand/pedal variations.

Difficulty: Intermediate

Length: 5m 14s + Optional Coda

Artist Description:
Christopher Ittoku is a project by a rural Australian composer currently studying in Sydney, Australia. His works are often influenced by modern 20th/21st century composers and modern electronic and experimental artists. He also releases electronic work and performs live under his moniker 'Ittoku'.

Composer's Notes: The trickiest part of the Announcement lies in the rhythmic section at the end; being on point with the rhythmic structures and the pedalling will get the most out of this section.

The coda is an optional (but worthwhile) section in which the performer repeats ad lib. trying to get as soft as possible, and can end wherever they wish in the coda.
