Back to School 2015 Piano Solo for Early Intermediate: The song was inspired while hiking slowly in the mountains appreciating nature. It has a rhythmic New Age style that uses cool contemporary chords for this level of playing. My students that have played this song have all used different pedaling and dynamics so I wrote none down. If they ask about pedaling I tell them to change the pedal each time the bass note plays. There is great left-hand crossover in the beginning and end of the song.
