Product Description
A Piano Duet for Late Beginners/Early Intermediates
The real deal, with some extras! Have you ever clapped, snapped, and stomped your feet in a piano duet? Have you done it as a piano-playing secret agent?
Watch your pre-teen students' motivation rekindle as they play such an accurate theme from a movie they enjoy!
This duet sounds impressively similar to the recording, with accurate rhythms and melodies in the same octave. It is shortened some to make it a prime choice for studio recitals (2 minutes), sure to be well received! *Recording available on YouTube*
Though a quite evenly leveled duet, the secondo part is rhythmically more complex. However, the ostinato can easily be mastered by listening to/playing along with the music from the films as the piece is conveniently in the same key. (And how fun would it be to play along with the original?)
Percussive parts (claps, knee slaps, etc.) are well notated, add interest throughout, and aid the syncopation of the ending themes. Percussive instruments could be substituted if desired (ex. sand blocks or a cabasa instead of rubbing hands together).
