This is the last of the series of nine wind octets that I wrote in 2008-2010. As of this writing (December, 2014) I dont know if I will write more of these. Gentle melodic beginning, lively middle, with a return of the beginning melody finished as a round. One of my best, I think. This sound clip was played by Janet Popesco Archibald and Robin May, oboes, Jose Gonzalez Granero and Joanne Eisler, clarinets, Larry Ragent and Alicia Telford, horns, Dan MacNeill and Shawn Jones, bassoons.
