The Andante is a relatively slow contemplative movement in concert F minor. The Rondo has a variety of passages between the repeats of the main theme. All are lively and one is in ragtime style. The world premier was held on January 30, 2011. Rachel Dusenbury and David Treganowen were the soloists with the San Francisco Civic Symphony. The second performance was on April 20, 2013 by the College of Marin Symphony with David Treganowen and Shelley Hodgen, soloists.
