This engaging fugue was originally written for 4 woodwinds. It won Second Prize in the Composers Today Competition, Adult Division, Music Teachers Association of California, 1999. In addition to scoring it for standard woodwind, double reed, clarinet, and saxophone quartet, I also produced a version for organ. The audio clip was played by Stephanie McNab, flute, Janet Popesco Archibald, English horn, Carey Bell, Clarinet, and Jenny Gunter, bassoon.
