Product Description

This is a very accessible choral arrangement of "Life is a Highway" that sounds great in intermediate and advanced choirs alike! The rhythms provide a challenge, but the harmonies are triadic and intuitive. Use it to work on syncopations, rhythms, and articulations, or as a first step into a cappella singing.
There is an optional open solo/vamp section at the end where choristers can add vocal improv on the "gimme gimme gimme" motifs of the original Tom Cochrane recording, or try out their own phrases in the call and response style.
It can be sung with beatboxing, or with as much hand percussion as you want to add. It is voiced for SAB with optional divisi only in the very last measure, so it can be sung by groups of any size. This fun, up-tempo rock song would be a great piece to open or close a set with!
