Duration: approx. 3:40
Playing Level
Viola 4: RCM Preparatory Level, ASTA Foundation Level, Suzuki early Book 1(past twinkles). Part 4 contains two measures of a dotted rhythm, but otherwise is continuous quarter notes in a moderate tempo. The viola 4 part is easy to memorize, so would work well in a Suzuki studio or with students less experienced with note-reading.
Viola 3: RCM Level 1, ASTA Level 1, Suzuki early Book 1
Viola 2: RCM Level 1, ASTA Level 1, Suzuki early-mid Book 1 (some use of low 2nd finger)
Viola 1: RCM Level 2, ASTA Level 4, Suzuki Book 2-4. Some tied and dotted rhythms and hemiola. A few shifts to 3rd position, which can easily be cut to accommodate non-shifting students.
