Invention no.1 is one of many Inventions that I have written over the years. I don't have any pretensions about these pieces of music. I only have a great love and admiration for Johann Sebastian Bach's music. Once in a while I enjoy composing original music inspired by the style of great composers, without literally copying. I believe we can still add pieces that can be valuable and interesting to the music repertoire even when they relate to a music style created in the past. To me it is still music...I just hope you have fun playing it...
