This is a single-movement polyphonic work from Monteverdi's 1610 Vespers book. Originally for 2 5-part mixed choirs, the piece works well for 2 brass quintets placed antiphonally on stage. This is not a direct transcription - some parts were re-voiced in different instruments to give variety. Technical demands are moderate, as well as range demands (1 trombone part has high A, Horn parts both have C below middle C).
