Product Description

What a Friend we Have in Jesus arranged for piano and 2-part vocal chorus. Simple rock ballad style, piano based and "oohs" and "ahs" in chorus to add color to the arrangement. There are three key changes and can be performed with or without vocals.

From the GRAMMY Award contender album My Fathers Favorite Hymns, available https://DJWorksMusic.com/products  by Deborah Johnson. There is also a beautiful spiral-bound devotional guide available with the amazing stories and life principles gained from these timeless classics, as well as all the music arrangements in one spiral-bound volume. Both are available on Amazon.

Written by Joseph Scriven (1855) as a poem for his mother when she was facing a crisis. Joseph lost one fiancé who drowned the day before they were to be married, then lost yet another, Eliza, who died from tuberculosis before they could marry. His grave was arranged for his feet to be opposite of his lost love, Eliza, so they could arise in the hereafter facing one another.
