Product Description
A relaxed latin composition in the style of a south american
folk song. With a tempo of 60 bpm is is a quite calm piece and comes best when
played a little lazily. It was composed in 2012 for the woodwind quintet of the
Berlin Staatskapelle and was also performed frequently by this famous ensemble.
As wished by the ensemble then, this piece is formatted in a jazz font style
but is proper to read.
Though not very difficult, it requires a more skilled flute
player due to a written solo in the high range of the instrument, and also a
french horn player whith an ability for the higher region is needed. Therefore this piece is appropriate for students, but might be too difficult for school
ensembles.
Duration is almost 4 minutes.
