Cello 1 has the melody throughout; the arrangement in C major is about a Preliminary Grade standard, while the arrangement in G major is about Grade1-2 standard, requiring a beginning knowledge of 2nd position. Cello 2 is a harmony part and could be played by someone of about Grade 3 standard, equally suitable for a teacher or a cello-playing parent, sibling or friend. Dotted slurs are optional.
