This is one of my favorite hymns/chorales. Franz Schubert said so much with so few measures. I recently sang with a group in Athens, TX named MEN FOR HIM. I knew this would be the first piece I would arrange for them. The playback voice sound just does not do justice, so I played this with four baritones. Listen to all the overtones that occur. I hope you enjoy this piece. It would make a great trombone quartet also. I already have a band arrangement of this here at SMP.
