Late elementary to early intermediate solo piano arrangement of Lost Boy by Ruth B. This arrangement includes the complete lyrics to the song and the melody is written for the right hand. It has been transposed to C Major to make it easier to learn (no sharps or flats!). As a learning piece, this arrangement is great for students of the piano. It explores some challenging concepts such as moving and crossing with the right hand, moving chord shapes in the left hand and some fun rhythms (duplets in 6/8 time and triplets in 4/4 time). By simplifying the left hand shapes, keeping the right hand melody only, and picking the easier key signature of C Major, students are free to explore without getting too overwhelmed.As a piano teacher myself, I strive to create arrangements that capture the true essence of each popular tune while coaching students to expand their skills in very doable patterns.
