Originally written for the Prairie Brass Band in Arlington Heights, Illinois in 1998, this new setting for Concert Band is dedicated to Dallas Niermeyer who is founding conductor of that band. The piece opens with the low brass and timpani shortly followed by succeeding entrances of the rest of the ensemble and builds to a rousing fanfare.
