Product Description

Program note:
Keith Jarrett has been on my list of musical geniuses for decades. I love hearing him and his trio play all the great jazz standards, but what I really love are the recordings of his solo piano work: the monumental six-CD box set, Sun Bear Concerts; the phenomenal clavichord set, Book of Ways; and the CD albums of his solo work at many locations around the globe --- Bregenz, Bremen, Köln, Lausanne, London, Milan, München, New York City, Paris, Rio, Tokyo, Vienna, etc.

When Irina Muresanu of the Boston Trio told me she would love it if I wrote a new work for her group, I immediately thought that a Keith Jarrett tribute would be an inspiring idea.

Piano Trio No. 3 Keith Jarrett is in five movements, or Testaments.
Testament 1 Moderato
Testament 2 Adagio Testament
3 Aggressively!!! Testament
4 Largo Testament
5a/5b Allegro Moderato

Enjoy!!!
