The art song/romance "A Dream" («Сон») (Op. 8, No. 5) was composed by Sergei RACHMANINOFF (1873 1943) in 1893. In present edition the Russian lyrics by Alexei PLESHCHEYEV (translated from German poet Heinrich HEINE) with transliteration and English translation are inserted into the score.

The romance is available in the key of F major (F4 A5) for high voice.
