The art song/romance "My child! You're as fair as a flower" («Дитя! Как цветок, ты прекрасна») (Op. 8, No. 2) was composed by Sergei RACHMANINOFF (1873 1943) in 1893. In present edition the Russian lyrics by Alexei PLESHCHEYEV (translated from German poet Heinrich HEINE) with transliteration and English translation are inserted into the score.
