Enjoyable selection

We chose this collection to include among our Jacktrip rehearsal group's summer fun projects. The arrangements have some sophistication without being overly difficult, and have been enjoyable to sing and will, if we ever perform them for an audience, be sure crowd-pleasers. The arrangements are pretty faithful to how we remember them being performed oh-so-long ago. This may be a bug or a feature, depending on your perspective: they consistently follow a melody+"accompanamint" a cappella format, so most voices end up doing a lot of "doots" rather than the sort of interweaved polyphony choirs do so well. Still, fun to sing, real musical substance, crowd pleasing - well worth the investment!
