Product Description

This is an arrangement of Corelli's very beautiful 'Christmas Concerto' (Concerto Grosso No. 8) for small chamber group: either trio alone (two violins and cello) or with keyboard added, making a lovely trio sonata. To cater for a larger group, more instruments can easily be added as required. This warm and happy music is extremely popular for events such as Christmas, weddings, birthdays or many other types of celebration. All of the original music is featured (movements: Vivace - Grave - Allegro - Adagio - Allegro - Adagio - Vivace - Allegro - concluding with the famous 'Pastorale'). The keyboard's figured bass is included for those who wish to use it, but a practical realisation has also been provided . The duration is about 20 minutes. The audio clip is based on sampled sounds and intended to give an impression of the texture.
