Product Description

Co-written by David Bowie, John Lennon and Carlos Alomar, Fame is from the 1975 Bowie album Young Americans. Documenting Bowies American experience, the song is simultaneously a celebration of fame, and also a cutting and cynical tear-down of it. Lyrics reference how fame drives you insane and makes you hollow, too cool to fool.

This energized and compelling TTBB arrangement has elements of a cappella, with 4-part vocal recreation of upbeat 1970s funk grooves. Intermediate level with a couple of more challenging melodic moments in individual parts, it would suit a chorus comfortable with making a pop sound. Suitable for choreography and costume, if your chorus enjoys that.
