Product Description
This collection spans four centuries, with an emphasis on
European carols. It is suitable for 2nd
year/early intermediate players. Most
carols have one verse that can be repeated as needed. Four carols have two verses, the second of
which places the melody in the second part with an obbligato in the first. In this Christmas series, instruments can be
mixed and matched. All books are written
in the same concert key so that any grouping of players can join together in
celebrating the season! Though some
carols are in traditional hymnal keys, most vary by a whole step to accommodate
the ranges and keys of all instruments in the series. The flute MP3 provides a recording of all
pieces. The duet bass part occasionally
crosses due to range. The carols and
their concert keys are:
