Product Description
Here is an extended Latin pop-jazz-style thing with scoring that really allows a big band to find its ensemble sound through both smoother, legato passages, as well as syncopated accompaniment figures. The tune is a basic diatonic melody, and the range for brasses is especially workable, as some Latin jazz pieces tend to be rather high up for trumpets especially. After the theme is stated, there is a smooth, full ensemble tutti, to establish the flow of the piece, before the rhythm gets interesting!
Solos are arranged for tenor sax, trumpet and trombone, brass backing up the sax, and saxes backing up the brasses. Sorry, no SampleSolo for the trombone. Chord symbols and written voicings for piano, an opt. guitar/bass/piano/drums Uni-Part, and a fully-scored drumset part for the proper clave are all included. Running time is approx 8 mins, with all solos.
