This Chaconne by Jeremiah Clarke is a late beginner/early intermediate classical piece for solo lever or pedal harp. It is a simple four-bar theme with five variations, and the chord progression is recognizable as being very similar to the one used in Pachelbel's "Canon in D." Harpists who do not yet feel ready to play Pachelbel's Canon may find Clarke's Chaconne more accessible.

Chaconne is an appropriate piece for weddings, recitals, dinner music, and more. It is in the key of C major and may be played on either lever (Celtic) or pedal harp. There are no pedal or lever changes.
