The percussion duet Hinchinbrook is inspired by the unspoiled and staggeringly beautiful landscape of Hinchinbrook Island, the largest island on Australias Barrier Reef.

The sparseness and asymmetry of the opening and ending evoke the island as viewed from afar. The inner sections reveal glimpses of the island at close range, with its tidal rivers, waterfalls, marshes and boulders, and micro detail on the sand.
