Your students will enjoy learning the most well-known songs of the "Festival of Lights," including "Hanukkah Blessing," "Oh Hanukkah," "Dreydl Song," "Sevivo," "Hanukkah, Hanukkah," "Rock of Ages" Add variety to your holiday program. This is a new arrangement with a modern flair, but maintaining the traditional character of the original melodies. This arrangement of the medley is for violin ensemble. Parts include advanced violin, first violin, second violin, elementary violin (on the level of Suzuki Book 1), and beginning violin. There is also an optional piano part for rehearsals which may be used in performance if needed. Viola and cello parts are available on request. The advanced violin part is not required, depending on the level of your group. It requires knowledge of third position. The arrangement is perfect for mixed-level Suzuki Violin Group Class or school violin ensembles. The duration of this medley is approximately 5 minutes. Share other religions and cultures with your students and by doing so, add to their holiday experience.
