Product Description

A three-part unaccompanied choral piece based on the poem of the same name by Thomas Hardy. The poem was inspired by Hardy's visits to Cornwall, UK, when he was a young man. Lyonnesse (sometimes spelled Lyonesse) refers to the sunken land of Cornish folk tales, and is used here as a metaphor for Cornwall itself. The piece is approximately 3 minutes in length and is also available in SAT and SSA on this site.

My name is Jake Alexander - Im a composer, arranger and choir leader based in London. I create accessible arrangements that play to the strengths of community choirs. If you would like to offer any feedback, or just want to say hi, please get in touch at jake@jakealexander.org. Also, feel free to get in touch if you would like to be sent rehearsal tracks - these are available for all of my scores. Happy singing!
