I was intrigued recently upon hearing a Church of England vicar on BBC radio 3 tell her interviewer that she has a sign across the bonnet (hood) of her car that reads Make way, here comes the Holy Ghost. It seemed like a good title for a song, so I wrote lyrics and set them to an instrumental tune of mine called The Flappers Ball, a lively 1920s-style melody. This is a joyful Christian song with a serious underlying message. The words are lighthearted, the piano part is easy to play and its great fun to perform in church or otherwise.
