"To Boldly Go and End Credits" arranged for brass quartet with optional instrument variations: trumpet, trombone, horn
This piece by Michael Giacchino contains portions of the TV Theme by Alexander Courage and Gene Roddenberry. Therefore it is like an epic medley of many familiar Star Trek tunes as we all love them.
It has been adapted specifically for brass players. Breathing signs and spaces are included and the slide option of the trombones is exploited (if you choose to fill the corresponding voices with trombone players).
Total play time is approximately 7 minutes and 43 seconds
but there is an option to end the piece in front of the interlude at time 2 min 42 sec at the same bar where the official HalLeonard piano arrangement of "to boldly go" ends:

After that, the music gets a little bit darker and string-dominated. These parts have been changed or excluded to make it a solid brass only Star Trek performance.
Score is available as a transposing and non-transposing score for two trumpets and two trombones, each 18 pages.

1st voice as trumpet in Bb and treble clef in C each 5 pages.
2nd voice as trumpet in Bb and treble clef in C each 5 pages.
3rd voice as trombone in bass clef in C and treble clef in F each 5 pages.

Dieses Stück von Michael Giacchino enthält auch Teile des Fernsehintros komponiert von Alexander Courage und Gene Roddenberry. Deswegen ist es eigentlich das perfekte Medley aus vielen bekannten Star Trek Melodien, die uns besondern aus den Anfängen noch bekannt sind (mit Theremin und so).
Dieses Stück wurde speziell auf Blechbläser angepasst. Die Streicher-lastigen Stellen wurden gekürzt, weggelassen oder umgedichtet, damit man am ende ein solides Blechblasstück hat. Atmungszeichen finden verwendung und die Glissando-Slide-Funktion des Posaunenzuges kommt öfters zum Einsatz.

Wem das zu lang ist, dem sei gesagt, dass es ein alternatives Ende nach 2:42 gibt, an der gleichen Stelle, wo auch das offizielle Hal Leonard KlavierArrangement aufhört:
