Product Description

An as-faithful-as-possible reproduction of the absolutely gorgeous orchestration from the signature musical number of The Greatest Showman, reduced to a string quartet + soloist instrumentation. This type of ensemble is extremely useful for wedding ceremonies or as a "featured" number on gigs where your quartet is joined by a guest soloist, and I have laid it out to be pretty flexible in regards to ensemble size. The quartet parts will also work with string orchestra; just have the basses reading the cello part 8ba. Alternatively, I have provided a chord/slash chart so that you can easily beef up the ensemble with piano, guitar, or a full rhythm section if "A Star is Born" was more your vibe...

The solo part is written in treble clef and should be easily playable for most soprano/alto instruments (a couple of notes will be out of range for violin, but can be taken up an octave without causing any issue). It is in the original record key of Ab major, although if you would like to have a version transposed to a different key you can send me an email and we can probably come to some sort of arrangement (all puns intended).
