Deep in Ponderous Thought started as a simple Streabbog piano etude. I slowed it way down and increased emotion by adding a countermelody and changing some harmony to richer chords. I also added many markings of dynamics and phrasing. A great piece to play when you want to let your emotions roam. Works well for a Lenten meditation as well.

Marked Intermediate because of the need to carefully balance 3 voices including the inner part.
