A great way to celebrate the Christmas holiday! This easy Instrumental Trio follows the traditional Joy to the World melody and can be used for a sing-along, repeating as many verses as you like.
Scored so that all three parts individually remain within an octave. Simple dynamics and phrasing are the only markings. Parts 1 and 2 carry the scalar melody, first in parallel 6ths and then in 3rds. Part 3 is an octave below the melody and uses just the three chord roots.
It may be easy, it may be an Etude, but when this piece is all put together it sounds more advanced and is perfect for any Christmas concert or recital!
