THE LAST OF THE MOHICANS with Uilleann pipes - the pipes part can be played by a violin, which should be played "sliding" and without vibrato, with the bow very close to the bridge, in order to simulate the rustic and unique sound of the uilleann pipes, a traditional Irish instrument used by the composer on the movie soundtrack. The piccolo part can be played by a soprano recorder.
