Product Description

Published in 1934, some three years before his death, this Concertino is an ideal piece for beginner students as their first multi-movement work. Capable of being played entirely in the first position, this edition includes some alternate fingering that allows extension into third position.
German violinist and composer Ferdinand Küchler (1867-1937) was working at the State Conservatory of Leipsig when he wrote this concertino, one of a number of student works that he composed during this time. His pedagogical works shaped violin instruction until the mid-1960s and his compositions are still considered an important part of the beginners repertoire.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
