This Sonata is taken from the Composer's 12 Sonatas for Flute and B.C. published in 1717. Originally in A, I have transposed it down a step because of intonation concerns. While the ``F´´ on most Piccolos is relatively in tune and stills sounds good, the ``G´´ can often times become shrill and unpleasant. Thus, the key change.
