The Sonata for Four Guitars was written for my friends, The Finger Lakes Guitar Quartet-Joel Brown, Brett Grigsby, Sten Isachsen, and Paul Quigley. These wonderful artists were kind enough to commission the work in 2015. It is a three-movement work in neoclassical style that explores the remarkably wide range of colors that can be achieved by four acoustic guitars.
