This outstanding piece, "Icicles Dripping" is written for solo viola and piano.  Throughout the piece, the listener will hear the "dripping icicles" which are written in the form of grace notes for the violist and accompanist.  These grace notes add a very particular lightness to the piece.  It begins with an original melody which highlights these grace notes, and then blends with the well known carol "Silent Night".  A definite wonderful piece to learn and perform.
