Product Description

Andalouse is an attractive evocation of Flamenco music, which has its origins in Andalusia in the south of Spain.  While it uses some of the characteristic modes and rhythms of this style, the "Common Time" time signature means that it is also quite accessible to players who are not familiar with the rhythmic complexities that are also used, for example, by the local guitarists.

The first part, which carries the melodic line, is the most challenging and needs to be very accurately played in order to capture the Flamenco style.  This is an excellent piece to showcase the skills of one player or to let everyone have their turn playing the lead.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
