Product Description

"The Blue Lady Bug" is one piece in the "Hue Zoo" set of violin duets.  Designed to be performed by a beginning violin student and their instructor (or an advanced student), each piece in the "Hue Zoo" series focuses on a different technique appropriate for a beginning player, while sounding very sophisticated with the addition of the advanced duet part.

(Note about difficulty:  The PRIMO part in each piece utilizes all first position and "high 2s," while the SECONDO part includes advanced techniques, while remaining in first position.)

"The Blue Lady Bug" is a jazzy, modern-sounding piece that can be enjoyed by beginning violin players of all ages.  
This piece specifically focuses on alternating between high and low 2 for the PRIMO player, while the SECONDO part requires the performer to play double stops, with right hand pizzicatos.
