Product Description

A motet for 5 voices and organ by J.P.Sweelinck, Zarlino's pupil in Venice, who was for 44 years organist in the Oude Kerk in Amsterdam (after his father had also been). His music is very near to the music by the English composers Byrd, Dowland and Bull, whom he might have known personally, and deeply influenced J.S.Bach's style.
